Terms of Use

Last updated 20 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Drift when you use the Drift app or drift.fitness. By creating an account or using Drift, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use Drift

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it, and able to agree to these terms. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe. Give accurate information, and don't create an account for anyone else or pretend to be someone you're not.

2. No tolerance for abusive content or behaviour

Drift has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not post, or behave in a way that is, harassing, bullying, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, defamatory, misleading, illegal, or that puts anyone's safety at risk. That applies everywhere in Drift: profiles, drifts, comments, clubs, and how you treat people you meet through the app.

3. Things you must not do

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post, such as drifts, routes, comments, photos and club details. You give Drift a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and share that content only so we can run the service, for example showing your drift to people who can see it. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other people already have, such as in a chat they took part in. You're responsible for what you post, and you must have the right to post it.

5. Safety when meeting people and exercising

Drift helps you meet people in real life to run or ride together. Please be careful. We don't run background checks on users, and we don't check, organise or supervise drifts, routes or meeting points.

6. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete Account). We may suspend or remove your account if you break these terms, if we're required to by law, or to protect other people.

7. The service

We work hard to keep Drift running well, but it's provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, add or remove features. To the fullest extent the law allows, we don't give warranties about the service, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens between users, including at drifts or other meetups. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

8. Apple App Store

If you downloaded Drift from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard licence terms also apply. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app, its content, maintenance or support, or any claims relating to it.

9. Changes to these terms

If we make important changes, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app. If you keep using Drift after the changes take effect, you accept the new terms.
